MRT is a convenient destination centrally located near Routes 3, 93 and 495 in the heart of historic downtown Lowell, with free parking.

From I-495 South
Take exit 39 to Rte. 133W. Follow Rte. 133W for approximately 4 miles to Rte. 38N (Nesmith Street.) Turn right onto Rte. 38N and turn left at the next stoplight (E. Merrimack Street.) The theatre is three blocks down on the right.
MRT performs in the 279-seat Nancy L. Donahue Theatre in Liberty Hall at 50 E. Merrimack St. in Lowell (adjoining Lowell Memorial Auditorium). The lobby and restrooms are fully handicapped accessible. Accessible seating in the theatre is available in the front row of the orchestra section ONLY. MRT does not have an elevator.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) will celebrate 46 years this season as the Merrimack Valley’s professional theatre. With a steadfast commitment to new plays, MRT annually produces seven works, including several premieres, in the 279-seat Nancy L. Donahue Theatre at Liberty Hall.
