Writers interested in reviewing are encouraged to attend one of the following productions:

First Saturday performance (opening night)

Casting

MRT holds show-specific auditions throughout the season as needed, both in Lowell and New York. Casting calls will be posted on the AEA website and hotline. Open auditions for members of Actors’ Equity Association are held in late spring in Lowell and Boston. For additional information please contact casting@mrt.org.

Auditions for non-AEA actors are held on a show- and role-specific basis only when needed.

Usher

Ushering offers you the opportunity to help support professional theatre in your community and earn great theatre-going benefits as well.  Our usher corps helps to create a welcoming environment for our patrons by greeting patrons, scanning tickets, passing out playbills, and serving concessions.  To sign up as a volunteer usher, please email john.dyson@mrt.org.

Living Legacy Society

The Living Legacy Society was established to secure the future of MRT with planned gifts, bequests and other estate planning options.

There are numerous options to consider:

Bequests

Bequests are the simplest type of planned gift. They are established by the donor with assistance from their estate attorney. There are many options for creating a bequest; fixed dollar amount, percentage of estate or contingent upon a specific scenario.

Life Insurance

MRT can be named full or partial beneficiary of your life insurance policy.

Sustaining Gift

How it works

You choose an amount to give, we'll charge your credit card each month and you are recognized at the appropriate giving level immediately.

Contributor ($50 - $149)  =  $4.16 - $12.41/month

Donor ($150 - $299) = $12.50 - $24.91/month

Supporter ($300 - $499) = $25 - $41.58/month

Patron ($500 - $999) = $41.67 - $83.25/month

Receive Producer Circle Benefits for the entire year for a low monthly rate:

Producer Circle ($1,000) = $83.34/month

Benefactor ($3,000) = $250/month
