Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)/Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
You generally have to start taking withdrawals from your IRA, SIMPLE IRA, SEP IRA, or retirement plan account when you reach age 73.
Your RMD is the minimum amount you must withdraw from your account each year.
- You can withdraw more than the minimum required amount.
- Your withdrawals will be included in your taxable income except for any part that was taxed before (your basis) or that can be received tax-free (such as qualified distributions from designated Roth accounts).
In order to meet the minimums without tax implications, you can make a gift to a qualified non-profit like Merrimack Repertory Theatre.

Artist Sponsorship (Exclusively Available to Individuals)
Artist sponsorship provides an opportunity to celebrate and engage with one of MRT’s most important stakeholders: artists! An artist sponsor will receive written/verbal acknowledgement on the call poster, playbill listing on show page, and curtain speech. Additionally, artist sponsors will be able to have a one-on-one meeting with the artist during the rehearsal/performance run.
$5,000 supports a guest actor, designer, or director for a production.
