MRT’s 2025 Gala is an annual fundraiser to benefit MRT’s productions, community engagement, and educational programs.
The evening will begin in MCC’s Federal Building with cocktails and hearty hors d’oeuvres amongst an interactive murder mystery soirée. Mix and mingle with the invited party guests (murder suspects) while participating in fun activities around MCC’s beautiful Federal Building. Will we see you in the Library with Professor Plum? Only time (and a roll of the dice) will tell…
The mystery continues at MRT’s Liberty Hall theatre for a Clue-inspired Radio Play, written by beloved Lowellians Belinda Juran and Evan Schapiro. This show is a murder mystery that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! Local celebrities play a lineup of mysterious characters - led by the indomitable Karen MacDonald. The play features original jingles sung live during the “radio ad breaks” to celebrate the evening’s sponsors.
Prior to the play’s third act reveal, we’ll share a video which highlights MRT’s impact on our community throughout our 2024-25 Season.

Attire:
The theme is Clue - how you interpret that theme can only be solved by YOU! (Dress as your favorite character from the franchise, an original character - perhaps a detective from the ‘30s who also enjoys radio shows, a giant magnifying glass, or another riff on the board game.)
